Logistics for Europe: let’s move towards resilient and competitive supply chains

23rd November 2022, the 2022 Logistics for Europe event brought together shippers, freight forwarders, logistics sector professionals, and European law makers. They engaged in a constructive discussion about the challenges European industry is being faced with.

The Logistics for Europe event was organised jointly by European Shippers’ Council, European Association for Forwarding, Transport, Logistics and Customs Services, and European Logistics Association demonstrating the importance and need for more collaboration between parties in the logistics supply chain.  Only together we can ensure that the EU remains a competitive and sustainable place for logistics.

The event addressed the growing pressure on trade to keep cargo moving in a sustainable and efficient way at times of the energy crisis. In addition, the event discussed the changes in the container shipping market in recent years, and how changes to the competition rules could restore trust and confidence in the container shipping industry.
