ESPORG, the European Secure Parking Organisation, in partnership with its public and private stakeholders from the road transport and supplier industries, established a dedicated Excellence in Truck Parking Award, with the objective to promote safety, security, quality, and care in providing services to professional truck drivers when using the services of safe and secure truck parking areas.
The Excellence in Truck Parking Award also aims at promoting excellence, spreading good practices, and enhancing the attractiveness and appeal of the driver profession to an increasingly diverse and wider public, including young people and women.
The French Truck Etape Béziers parking facility was voted European Truck Parking of the Year 2022 by ESPORG’s international jury, composed of representatives of leading road transport stakeholders and governmental and non-governmental institutions and bodies including the European Shippers’ Council.
