TEN-T Days, Ljubljana, 27 April 2018, ESC in coalition with other European associations (MFF4Transport) stressed the need for more budget for transport within the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 and handed over their declaration to the European Commission. ESC is supporting this initiative to get more investment for the industry that will also benefit supply chains.

The Commission will publish the MFF proposal for the next financial period on 2 May. This proposal will reveal how much money will be reserved for the Connecting Europe Facility instrument (CEF is a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs, and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at European level). CEF proposal will come out on 29 May.
The transport coalition MFF4Transport represents transport organisations, shippers, authorities, logistics service providers, infrastructure managers, operators, contractors, equipment suppliers, and all supporting companies that teamed up together to call for more investment in clean and modern transport.
