The European Commission has updated the list of countries applying the Registered Exporter system (REX) within the framework of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP). The REX system is the system of certification of origin of goods that applies in the GSP of the European Union since the 1st of January 2017. The global transition period to the REX system will last until the 30th of June 2020. For each country, the changeover date in the REX system and the date of the end of the transitional period during which the 2 systems (REX and FORMA) can coexist are indicated. Countries can request a 6-month postponement of the period end date indicated in the table. The table is updated regularly. For the recently updated data, please see here.
