26 February 2024, the European Shippers’ Council organised a webinar on the main outcome of the ENTRANCE project, the ARRIVAL platform, attended by over 30 participants.
The ENTRANCE project is a 3-year project supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020. It started in 2020 and ended in 2023. The main outcome of the ENTRANCE project is the creation of a European matchmaking platform, the ARRIVAL platform, in cooperation with the RECIPROCITY project.
The ARRIVAL platform offers matchmaking and off-line services, designed to rally buyers looking to adopt pioneering innovative transport and innovators seeking to see their work rewarded.
Generally, the ENTRANCE project and the ARRIVAL platform:
- Identify and promote innovative zero-emission transport solutions;
- Support an ecosystem made of innovators and buyers, seeking to access and scale-up the most novel innovations, with the lowest possible risk;
- Organise training and brokerage activities facilitating purchase aggregation by neutral trustees for the orchestration of collaboration;
- Promote the aggregation of purchase agreements and replacement plans to facilitate the adoption of innovative sustainable transport solutions by buyers and, thus, the scaling-up of those solutions by innovators;
- Promote good practices on the deployment of innovative solutions;
- Disseminate funding opportunities as well as relevant legislation;
- Support access to innovative finance solutions.
