European Shippers’ Council together with CLECAT and IRU representing freight forwarders and road transport operators respectively have started a survey of their members in the framework of the LEARN project. Energy efficiency and climate change are rising on the government and industry agenda, and companies are increasingly looking at how to calculate and reduce carbon emissions from freight and logistics. The survey aims to collect views on barriers, needs, and recommendations for support, research, and policy from a company perspective. Results will be released in autumn 2018 and discussed at the next LEARN International Workshop on 7-8 February 2019. For more information, please contact learnproject@smartfreightcentre.org.
