31 May 2024, European Shippers’ Council together with the VITAL-5G project partners are organising a webinar about the use of 5G technology in logistics and transport. The webinar is dedicated to the exploration of the VITAL-5G project and its outcomes.
We will delve into VITAL-5G use cases, the 5G technology utilised on vessels and warehouse structures, as well as challenges and outcomes of those use cases.
VITAL-5G: “Vertical Innovations in Transport And Logistics over 5G experimentation facilities” is a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme and aimed at creating an open, virtualised, and flexible experimentation facility comprised of an intelligent virtual platform, three distributed European 5G-testbeds, and associated vertical infrastructure to enable the testing and validation of Transport & Logistics (T&L) Network Applications in real-life conditions, utilising 5G connectivity.
The webinar is structured to provide comprehensive insights, featuring informative material on 5G technologies, live demonstrations, and a spotlight on use cases’ outcomes.
