At the Motorways of the Sea Forum, ESC spoke on the main needs that should be addressed to better integrate maritime transport in the overall door-to-door chains.
The event was held in Brussels on the 21st of June 2019. The presenters shared the current and future vision promoted by MoS and outlined the next steps for the update of the MoS Detailed Implementation Plan. The main conference topics were environmental sustainability in the maritime sector; maritime transport integration in the global logistic chain; safety, human element and traffic management; and financing MoS (e.g. CEF Blending Facility on alternative fuels).
