As from 1 July 2018, the new Council Regulation grants tariff quotas at zero duty rates for an appropriate volume to seven new products.
The Council of the European Union has amended the regulation on autonomous tariff quotas of the Union for certain agricultural and industrial products. As from 1 July 2018, the new regulation – COUNCIL REGULATION (EU) 2018/913 of 25 June 2018 amending Regulation (EU) No 1388/2013 – grants tariff quotas at zero duty rates for an appropriate volume to seven new products. In the case of eight additional products, the quota volumes should be increased and in the case of three products, the description should be amended.
