ALICE workshop on “Supply chain innovation for inland waterways”

ALICE is organising a workshop on “Supply chain innovation for inland waterways“. The workshop will be held during the upcoming Transport & Logistic fair in Munich (link) at the ALICE Booth A3-400 on June 4th, 15:30–16:30. It will explore how Inland Waterway Transport (IWT) is evolving to meet the demands of modern, fast-paced supply chains.

As the push for greener, more efficient logistics intensifies, the challenge is clear: how can we keep On Time In Full performance high—while driving down cost and emissions?

Within the MULTIRELOAD project, an innovative demonstrator, led by TTS, has been developed which unlocks new flexibility for transporting bulk goods via inland waterways—smaller shipments, pallet-wide containers, and greener modes.

The solution enables hybrid land and water transport models, bulk shipments in containers (ideal for smaller, frequent loads, serving new customers), pallet-wide containers (ideal solution for smaller, frequent loads of almost any product type), and a game-changing CO₂ and cost simulator to help you plan smarter.

Why attend?

  • Explore barriers and enablers to adoption
