During the meeting of the ESC Inland Transport Council that took place 4 June 2018, the members were updated on the progress made in the project LEARN on the emissions calculation, assurance, and reporting. The project mobilizes businesses to reduce their carbon footprint across their global logistics supply chains. Companies can declare the reliability of logistics emissions data, get knowledge and training to build confidence and improve their practices, and to see their needs reflected in research, policies, and standards. For more information, please see the presentation of Sophie Punte, the Coordinator of the LEARN project and the Executive Director of the Smart Freight Centre.
