Algeciras, Spain, 20 April 2023: Transprime and ASTIC, during ‘Driver First’ conference, will stage a new collaboration scenario between transporters and shippers.
With the slogan “Driver First”, the European Shippers’ Council, through its delegation in Spain – TRANSPRIME (the Spanish Shippers’ Council), and the International Road Transport Union (IRU), through its full member ASTIC (International Road Transport Association), are convening the 1st Conference on Best Practices with the Road Transport Drivers. The organisers will present the Responsible Shipper Certification (RSC) and the IRU-ESC Universal Charter, a charter of commitment to the improving of working conditions of drivers in the areas of loading and unloading of goods.
This conference, which will take place in the Millán Picazo Auditorium of the Port of Algeciras, will also recognise the good practices of loading and transport companies that are committed to this corporate logistics culture that advocates the dignity of the transport profession.
