The Department of Transport and Regional Economics (TPR) at the University of Antwerp is launching a survey that aims to understand:
1. The factors that influence the decision of supply chain actors to shift cargo from road transport to other modes of transport and
2. Each actor’s specific requirements, roles, and responsibilities to achieve a fully integrated and flexible transport system.
Based on the data collected here and the findings of the literature, the requirements of synchromodality in operational life are planned to be understood. Synchromodality is the seamless integration of different transport modes, which requires coordination and collaboration among various actors in the supply chain.
This survey is not going to take longer than 10 minutes. Your insights are invaluable to this research and will contribute to a deeper understanding of the logistics and transport industry, particularly in the context of sustainable transport solutions. Participants will also receive a summary of the overall findings.
