Speaking to FreightWaves, the ESC Secretary-General Godfried Smit stressed that many companies are already too late to prepare for Brexit. For shippers, to have their distribution organised in a proper way, one has to foresee additional facilities, such as a warehouse in the UK, for example. That’s very difficult to acquire, and if you can acquire it, it’s very expensive.
