The European Logistics Platform (ELP) organises its first summit under the new term of the European Parliament. The summit is entitled “Logistics in Time of Transition” and will take place at the Residence Palace, Rue de la Loi 155, 1040 Brussels.
There are already a couple of high-ranked speakers confirmed for this event such as Magda Kopczyńska (Director General DG MOVE), Sophie Punte (creator of LifeLines), Katharina Tomoff (SVP Global Environment, Social and Governance DHL), Paul Walter (Strategy Director Digitization Port of Rotterdam), and Dr. Frederik Zohm (Executive Board Member for R&D at MAN Truck & Bus). More speakers will follow soon.
The ELP is a platform for dialogue between policy makers and all actors of the supply chain, from freight and logistics operators (all modes) and their suppliers, to ports, terminals, and the retailers and manufacturers relying on efficient logistics services. The ELP organises events focused on the key challenges facing the logistics sector, from digital transformation to sustainability, trade, and access to skills. The events are designed to create an open debate between industry and policy makers to find solutions to common problems and challenges.
