AUTOSUP is a European-funded project defining the transition path for transforming supply chain nodes such as ports and intermodal hubs into seamlessly operating multimodal automatic freight transport platforms.
In AUTOSUP, solutions are being developed for the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and the Port of Trieste serving as ‘Living Hubs’ (LH) in which the operational and cost efficiency, and user acceptance of the automation solutions will be validated in the use cases covering all existing and also new modes of transport.
With this background, ESC and ALICE have already organised a first AUTOSUP webinar on “How can EU policy foster collaboration and data sharing in multimodal freight transport?” results of which are summarised here.
The second webinar seeks to address the questions related to safety and (cyber-)security focussing on the current situation, the (EU) regulation perspective, the way ahead, and coping with disruptions.
