DREWRY-ESC annual survey: CONTAINER SHIPPING

European Shippers’ Council is encouraging shippers to participate in the survey on the quality of services that shippers receive in container shipping. The deadline is approaching.

The survey takes 10 minutes to complete and is available here. The deadline is Friday, the 29th of March 2019.

ESC and Drewry, the leading international shipping consultant, have been partnering for some years to collect shippers’ views about the liner shipping market.

This time, the survey takes place in the context of the currently ongoing revision of the Consortia Block Exemption Regulation by the European Commission. The results of the survey will be used to track the service quality of the container carrier industry and to quantify differences in quality over time and between carriers.

Selected results of the survey, as in previous years, will be publicised by ESC and Drewry. The participants will receive all the results of the survey by email within 2 months, and 5 respondents, selected at random, will be granted a free annual subscription to the “World Container Index assessed by Drewry”, which tracks rates on East-West routes.

The individual answers of the participants of the survey remain anonymous and will not be disclosed to any other party.
