SUMMARY:Transport Policy
DESCRIPTION:This high-level event “Transport Policy Conference. How can we accelerate the decarbonisation of the transport sector?” will bring together EU policymakers\, industry leaders\, and experts to explore how Europe can accelerate the decarbonisation of its transport sector. Through a series of focused plenary and panel discussions\, participants will examine the key policies\, technologies\, and innovations shaping the future of sustainable mobility across all modes of transport. \nThe day will open with a plenary session featuring Magda Kopczynska\, Director-General of DG MOVE\, who will outline the EU’s strategic vision for greener\, more competitive\, and more accessible transport. Subsequent panels will address the transition to carbon-neutral mobility\, the evolution of aviation under initiatives such as FuelEU Aviation\, and the efforts to modernise shipping through alternative fuels and new technologies. With contributions from Members of the European Parliament\, Commission officials\, and sector representatives\, the event will provide a comprehensive overview of the progress made\, the challenges ahead\, and the solutions needed to deliver a climate-neutral transport system in Europe. \nREGISTRATION \nPROGRAMME
