SUMMARY:European Silk Road Summit
DESCRIPTION:About the European Silk Road Summit \nWhile the main route continues to exist\, the last couple of years have given room to alternatives\, bypasses and new cooperations. Central Europe is increasingly taking position in the New Silk Road and Vienna is one of the logistics hotspots for Eurasian traffic\, providing a valid alternative to existing hubs. \nAt the European Silk Road Summit 2024\, we looked at the main route and the Middle Corridor. Next to that we zoomed in on Vienna and the most recent developments in Germany. \nThe European Silk Road Summit is the biggest event about the New Silk Road in Europe\, bringing together hundreds of rail freight professionals each year. This was a successful 8th edition of the European Silk Road Summit: a rebounding market\, an expanding network on November 2024\, in Vienna. \nThe next edition will take place on 19 – 20 November 2025 in Milan! \nFor more information\, please see here.
